First Thoughts and Textile Models

I imgine an interior textile structure, a carpestry: you can step on it, sit on it, it feels comfortable there, it is somehow alive with its lights and reactions when you touch it or sit down. It is warm, maybe a bit humide. You feel as if there is someone else in the room, the big colorful warm breathing surface is its body.

First sketches about form and yarn pattern.

I am interested in forms of mazes like the famous one of the church in Chartre (F) (see pics below).

What shape can the carpestry (carpet+tapestry) have?

Is the big main yarn one colored or two colored and showing a pattern or a maze or is it more the thinner connecting yarn (stitching yarn) which is showing a accentuated pattern?

Where can you sit down and where and why are electronics, lights integrated?
